Light haze with a light yellowish golden hue, minimal lacing. Buttery sweet malt aroma with a musty smell in the back. Musty palate with a nutty yeast and odd grain flavor. Watery and very light in the body. Light on the hops with more butter and a wet sock character in the finish.

Just not up to snuff IMO.

I sampled this at the Flying Goose Bewpub in New London, New Hampshire. The main reason I purchased it was because it was lower in alcohol (3.93%) and I was driving for another hour. It poured a cloudy pale yellow, which was unimpressive for a golden ale. The aroma was weak and distant on the nose but what aroma it had was clearly of grass and wheat. It's body was fairly decent, which is about the best thing I could say about it. The taste was tangy and sour. It was not one of their better brews I have tried.

Clear yellow appearance, a few bubbles on top just after pouring.
Light cereal or possibly malt in the nose, no detectable hops.
Very low in carbonation, close to flat.
Very thin body and quite watery. No hops, minimal malt- basically only offensive by its lack of flavor.
I'm not sure what they were going for here, maybe a beer that Grandma could sip on Sunday before church.
