Poured on-tap and served in a tumbler pint, the beer is a dark, vibrant, ruby-highlighted brown coloring with a sparse, white, filmy coating on the surface. Subtle grainy and earth nose, with hints of caramel and hops. Flavors of caramel sweetness with a roasty, smokey highlight. Watery body, making the palate light, overall. The aftertaste is sweet nut and bready, with a clean, light finish. Decent brew, but it just lacks something.
