Stopped here on way to Boston to see Strangefolk.
They have a nice selection of beer. I regret that I couldn't review more than 2.Growlers are also offered at $15 each including deposit the selection is quite diverse..
Food is excellent. I had their buffalo burger and just how often do you see buffalo burgers?
Service was very reasonable. They weren't busy and the orders didn't take long to arrive.
Atmosphere was ok.A bit bland but otherwise tolerable.
Not a bad place to stop at if you're in the area.

Ive been to this pub a few times and had their beers via growler many more times. But I will finally review after downing several pints on a visit with my buddy from college Darren, (Mug club member #4!).
This is pretty much the only show in town and it has easy parking right at the intersection of two major roads, so it is easy to find and get to.
Walking in the pub there is seating for meals in booths around but we walked towards the bar which is around the back. The bar area is small with maybe 15 seats in an L shaped bar. There are mug club mugs behind the bar and at least 18 draft lines, all in house brewed. This area also has some hightop table chair sets and more booths and my buddy tells me it can be standing room only some weekends around the bar.
Decor is flashback to 1990s brewpub with random antique and brewing paraphernalia on wooden walls. Growlers from many other breweries also are displayed on shelves.
The beer list is an extensive run of styles with many traditional brews that can be harder to find these days. Beers are listed on a large chalkboard and give one column of always-on brews and the other column is more of the seasonal specialties. There is a red ale, IPA, oatmeal stout, hefeweizen, pilsner, and a pale ale. The specialties include a blackberry wit, maple brown ale, strong dark belgian (10%), saison, lpeach lambic, and a hard cider. There is also a house root beer for those not boozing. I rolled with the maple brown the entire time we were there. you could get any beer in a growler except the oatmeal stout which was on nitrogen.
Bar staff are very friendly and accommodating, they only check in when our glasses are getting empty, which was nice.
We didnt eat anything so I cant comment there, but the food that came out around us looked appealing. The one down side, is that this place closes early around 9 pm most nights, so get there early and take some brews home with you afterwards.
Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. Maybe next summer I will grab a meal as well. Cool spot with quality brews, especially nice to not just be bombarded with IPAs!

On my way back from hanging out on Lake Winnipesaukee, me and my son decided to stop at this long standing brewpub. Me, I was enthralled! An absolutely practically perfect vibe of a wonderful clean atmosphere, service that kept up with the pace of the customers entering, and the music - it was set at the perfect level, just enough to hear it, but not blaring to distract any possible conversation that could happen. I had the Salmon Samuel and dammmmmmmmn, it was an absolutely awesome meal. One could tell the high quality and effort put into that meal. Selection is their beers and those are quite good. Yes, they do a ton of traditional beers, but at least these beers are brewed with high quality and precision. Not often in this day and age are there many brewpubs that are this spectacular.

These guys are making some of the best beers in NH but since they are a brew pub they don't seem to get the praise that they should. there beers are all top shelf and the IPA and DIPA are both great. They are finally bottling some of there beers. This should help them rise to the top. The food is good too.

Incredible beer selection from a small brew pub in NH. Their IPAs are great and their Milk Chocolate Stout is outstanding! Food selection is excellent as well. If you are in the Lake Sunapee region you should check in out!

My first love. Was my watering hole for many years in the late 90's. They always have a good beer selection, with some special rotating or seasonal choices. Service is always better around the bar, but what ever. Excellent pub menu and with excellent daily specials. Excellent pub!

My wife and I stopped here for lunch and to try the beers. The pub is situated in a great hilltop setting so that a scenic mountain view is available across the valley from the dining area. The pub is decorated with stuffed moose heads, beer signs, etc. so that it was a cozy feeling that I like in a brewpub setting.
We ordered a sampler flight of 5 beers of our choice. Each one was brewed very well to style and exceeded the style guidelines so that our scoring system gave the beers an overall grade of a B. (It's unusual for our scoring mechanism to get a score in that realm, so this brewery is doing some good things.) A Flanders Red was our favorite, and the Double IPA was right behind.
The food menu was a little better that typical pub fare, and we enjoyed our meal. If we're in the area we'd definitely go back here again.

Beautiful view and a bunch of good beers made in house. We were driving back from Ruggles mine and were lucky enough to stumble upon this place. Definitely worth a stop in if within driving distance! Food was good though may have been a bit on the expensive side. Great ipa's and they fill growlers. I'll absolutely be back!
