Notes/Commercial Description:
Snake River Pale is an American pale brewed with domestic malt and plenty of Cascade hops. Golden in color, it has a citrusy hop flavor which is followed by a crisp, firmly bitter finish. Pale ale is a great foil to spicy ethnic foods and can also complement a salad well.

Poured a bright golden color, with a decent cap of bubbly off-white foam. Aromas of floral hops, somewhat grassy, bubblegum and biscuit. On the palate, this one was light to medium bodied, with flavors of good hops, as well as some pears, peaches and biscuit malt.

This is a solid pale ale offering by snake River. The beer poured a clear pale golden color with thin white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent carries fresh hop. The taste is crisp and clean, very well balanced that finishes just a touch bitter. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with decent carbonation. Overall this is a very sessionable pale ale and well worth the try.

Not sure where this popped up from, but sure.

A creamy head rests at half a finger on a hazed, dark yellow brew that's just shy of amber. Retention is very good, and lacing as creamy as the head itself clings hard to the glass with some thin curtaining on one side.
Ultimately, this beer is a standard (good) APA with pretty good strength to it. It balances caramel malt with an additional honey-like sweetness against a moderate bitterness consisting of flora and pine with a little citrus. It does have a light bite of peppery spiciness and finishes with grass and orange zest.
While remaining crisp and smooth from start to finish, with a nice bite and a good flow, there's something just lacking in the depth that holds it back slightly. It's clean in its medium body.

Appearance: pours a 1" sudsy white head which recedes slowly with significant lacing. Color is a mostly clear golden-orange with plenty of carbonation present.
Aroma: pleasant combination of floral and pine hop aromas with a sweet caramel bready malt. Mouthfeel: fairly light bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Finish is dry.
Flavor: delicious combination of well balanced hops and malt. There is some floral, pine, and citrus from the hops. This is met with a sweet maltiness as well as some cracker flavor. It is easy to see why this ale is a multi-year medal winner at the GABF.

Hazy orange color with a thin thick head with low retention and leaving some laces.
Nice aroma of fresh oranges, honey and biscuit malt.
Taste follows nose, crisp citric flavor with notes of predominant fresh oranges, later grapefruit, just a bit of pine and caramel. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body with perfect carbonation.
Straight forward APA, but extremely refreshing and easy to drink. Great if you want to session with an APA with less pine and more citrusy. I could drink this the whole day.

Served from a 12oz brown bottle at The Granary (Jackson Hole, WY). Reviewed from notes.

A: Dusky amber with a hint of sunlight yellow poking through with a 1/2-finger frothy small bubbled off-white head with decent retention and a thin line of lacing.

S: Light caramel malt is dominated by grapefruit, pine, and citrus hops

T: Solid APA flavor, not flashy, but it gets the job done and matched well with my underwhelming pasta primavera-like entree. The malt component is more than adequate with a solid caramel and bready/light toast combination. Hops are ahead, but the beer is balanced. Grapefruit, pine resin, and orange are the chief flavors with a little bit of grassiness/herbal character. A good hosp complexity overall. No yeast component detectable and the bitterness is a touch under moderate.

M: Good dryness with a light-medium body and even carbonation. Very drinkable.

O: Another very god effort from Snake River Brewing. I have tried 3 beers this trip and all have been very good, spanning from hoppy (SR APA and Pako's IPA) to bready (SR Lager). Check these guys out if you are in Jackson Hole or the surrounding area.
