Welcome to Jackson Hole, Wyoming!

Make yourself at home at Snake River Brewing in the heart of the Teton Mountain Range. All roads, trails, bike paths, climbing routes and ski runs lead to "The Brewpub"! After a day in the great outdoors how can you not partake of a tasty malt beverage and a delicious meal?

Considered by many to be Jackson's "living room", our pub provides locals and visitors alike a unique social experience. We are non-smoking (always have been) and family-friendly.

We open each day at 11:30 am and our kitchen serves until 11:00 pm. Wyoming says you gotta leave by 2:00am.

We've been around since 1994 when Joni and Albert Upsher decided to open the restaurant and brewery. In 2007, the Upshers retired and sold to Ted and Noa Staryk. Snake River Brewing has always been family owned and operated. Everything here is handmade, we even have our own bakery.

If you're thirsty or hungry or both, we can help. Hope to see you soon!

Stopped in on the family vacation through Jackson and Yellowstone. I've been reading about the greatness of Snake River since the late 90's and I was nothing but disappointed. The brewpub is located right off the main strip and is kid-friendly (kids' menu available), both of which are pluses. The food options (mostly pizza and sandwiches) are very limited, but that's not really a problem in my mind. The problem was that the beer was as watery as any third-rate brewpub. This place must be riding on years-old reputation, because none of the beers was even adequate. The stronger flavored options (the stout and the IPA) were flavorful, but not for the style. The Kolsch was like sparkling water and the other regular beers all tasted like Sam Adams Light. Our server was too busy or too disinterested to get back to our table to freshen drinks or to check on us at all. Bad stop all together, but the pizzas were inventive and not at all bad. (946 characters)

The Aspen of Wyoming. Solid beer, questions questionable atmosphere. (69 characters)

Visited with the parents during our trip to the Tetons/Yellowstone. This was one of the breweries I was looking forward to visiting on the trip. My experience with beer in this area of the country was severely limited before this summer and I had only heard good things about this spot in Jackson. I also had heard good things about Jackson itself so I was intrigued to see how the local craft beer scene was.

As far as vibe goes, it definitely felt like a brewpub with the fermentation tanks in and outside of the restaurant. Plenty of TVs around with various sports games on. Not a beer geek devoted spot but you can tell the place is devoted to the beer they brew. Easy beer-to-go station right as you walk in which should be obvious but I have seen other highly touted brewpubs lacking quick, easy options.

All of the beers I tried were above average to great. I really enjoyed Zonker and Pako's fresh from the source. The cans of Pako's we got were also excellent throughout our trip in the midwest. We had food which was some of the better food I have had at a brewpub. Excellent house-made beer sausage. The whole family was happy with the food. Overall a good brewpub where you can tell they are devoted to both the beer and food, not just trying to make a quick buck. (1,278 characters)
