A- Looks like a dark Oud Bruin. So I guess a sh*tload of blackberries are in this, and you can see it. Very dark; and it is purple when you hold it up to the light. Very dark purple. Minimal lacing.

S- Great sour smell. That sour smell that makes your nose hair pucker. Definitely presence of blackberries. Some yeasty funk, but more sour blackberry.

T- Very sour blackberry. I would love to have that bottle along side this one. That is what I get.

M- Smooth, just the right amount of carb, maybe on the low side. Very well done.

O- This comes off as an Oud Bruin with lots of sour blackberries. Had this side-by-side with VSB a month after review of this beer with another beer buddy, and we both like AC Golden Framboise Noir over New Glarus Very Sour Blackberry

Batch 1, bottled 10/18/12.
Very tart, but smooth malt behind. Blackberry is ideal for this style, IMO.
Tart subsides as second pour warms, and the sour just sticks to your lips.
Don't know how much longer these should sit, hate to see it get funky.

Bottle shared by Dave tonight.

Pours fairly dark crimson brown, slightly purple, with a quarter inch head, and a not a whole lot of lacing. The color on this one is really amazing.

Smells very strongly of juicy blackberry, with some lactic sourness, oak, and leather. Smells quite tasty.

Tastes great. This is one of the more oaky sours I've ever had, delicious, leathery, with some slight vanilla, and some juicy, but quite sour blackberry flavors. I'm picking up other indistinguishable dark fruit flavors as well.

This one is medium bodied, with a full, and tart but juicy mouthfeel. There is a fairly low level of carbonation. It's quite drinkable.

One of the best sours I've ever had, it's cool that a beer this good could (sort of) come from Coors.
