Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.

Bottled 11/12/12. Bottle # 1641.

Pours a murky light orange with a foamy bone head that fades to nothing. Small dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with apricot and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with apricot and apricot skin flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is quite sour and tasty.

Bottle courtesy of forgetfu. Served in a snifter. Pours a slightly-hazed light orange color with a good white head and nice lacing. Nose has a really impressive apricot presence with a touch of grain and nice acidity. Flavor has really nice apricot with good acidity and a very mild funk presence. Would be better with more funk, but I can’t complain about this. Light body with medium acidity. Quite nice.

what a beer, almost as sour as the mother funker, seriously puckery stuff here. pours a lackluster pale greyish yellow color, dense straw looking and sort of bland, with a head that bubbles a little on the pour but never amounts to anything. it smells sour as hell, lactic acid is all I really get. a touch of summer peachy pollen maybe, but that's all. at first all I taste is long, its all day long, I mean, five minutes from sip to finish, constantly changing, never dry like I expected and sort of hoped it would be. I get a bit of apricot in the middle there, all fuzzy and little and a tad under ripe, but the sourness and acidity takes over before I can really appreciate this. to be fair, its a 2012 vintage, and may have soured quite a lot since its release. I will have to try the peche to compare, but I have a feeling this is just an in your face sour bomb. I didn't dislike it at all, but its drinkability it limited for obvious reasons and both claystation and I forced the last of this bomber down. good work if you can get it, a front of tongue sour for the ultimate challenge. just good to me though, not stand out aside from its sourness.

Another thanks to rudzud. Batch 1 , 2010

No head, hazy golden peach color.

Nose fresh apricot, nice funky sour lacto like funk, generic tart sour fruit and light berry notes, little stone fruit and put.

Taste semi sweet to start, then quickly turns to acidic funk, tart sour wild funk, stone fruit and little apricot like fruit, juicy bit sour. Nice juicy fruit with light bitterness. Finish is sticky little flemmy, mild acidic tart and mild stone fruit.

Mouth is lighter bod, decent carb, little acidic bite.

Overall pretty nice, tart lambic with little stone fruit and nice acidity, tasty beer.

Bottle shared by forgetfu, thanks. This was the best out of the three and is as good as any fruit sour made in the US currently. Apricot for the win.

Beer is yellow and hazy with a white head, decent retention, moderate carbonation.

Aroma is fruit and lactic sourness.

Beer is nice, creamy, fruity, tart and sour, a great moderately dry finish but not too bad, works well with the fruit sweetness and the tart in the corners. I'd have it again for sure.

Thanks to Lauren for the share.
This had to follow De Garde's Imperial Apricot Bu, so it had rough competition.

Golden-orange pour, moderately hazy, with a foamy cap of white head that fizzled out and held at a ring, leaving some minor lacing on the glass. Aroma of wet wood, stone fruit, soured grains, light funk. Taste of toasted grains up front, biscuity malts, woody, herbal, apricot was there, but not in a huge way, not very sour or sweet, just kind of benign, with a fruity essence, and a slight grassy funk. Light-medium body, crisp, dry. Drinkable enough, but a bit lacking in flavor.

Share by forgetfu. Thanks Bill!

The beer is hazy and appears a golden apricot hue (go figure). The aroma is surprisingly good. I am already shocked that a huge macro brewing corporation is producing lambic, let alone lambic I would buy and drink regularly. The flavor brings prominent apricots. Mild tartness balanced with a delicate sweetness. Light acetic finish with a touch of funk. Good stuff. I would have this again.

A sour beer from AC Golden. Let's see how this one is at $21.99 per bottle.

Pours a murky light golden color with a light foam cap. Decent lacing, but piddles at the end.

While the aroma isn't bad, it is rather simple. Very light hint of pale malt, some funky spice, then a whiff of fruit...apricot to be sure.

As with the nose, the taste isn't bad...a bit simple. While the apricot is noticeable and nice, it hides behind a thin layer of malt, and a farmhouse style funk that is still pretty light. The pucker hits in the middle and suggests to hang around, but it does fade into the fruit finish.

An good beer using good fruit ingredients. Not very complex and leaves a somewhat empty palate.

A - Pours a opaque very light orange with an active fizzy off-white head with is gone fast.

S - Tart apricots, not super strong.

T - Tart apricot, lots of fruit, not much funk or barrel, but the apricot shines.

D - Good carbonation with a light body, tart.

O - A nice tart, light apricot. Not overly complex, but still nice.
