Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.

Batch 2. Bottled 9/26/12. Bottle # 2.

Pours a murky orange with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with malt, peach, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with malt and peach flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a solid peach presence that is slightly better in the aroma.

Bottle courtesy of forgetfu. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a hazy light golden-straw color with a short white head and a light bit of lacing. The nose carries a touch of peach and a bit of acidity. Not much depth, and not quite as nice as the Apricot. Flavor has a very mild malt presence plus some peach and a bit of accompanying pit. Light body and a touch of acidity. Okay and without flaws, but not nearly as good as the Apricot.

Thanks to rudzud .

Very little head, hazy yellow pilsner color.

Nose funky, lambic like fruity funk, little grainy wheat malt, little sweet, but mostly just lambic aroma.

Taste starts a hint sweet, then big lambic tartness, little tart generic fruit, funky, mild stone fruit, etc. Nice acidic bite, big acid bit very tasty. Finish is a bit flemmy and nice tart lambic fruit.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice carb, decent acidic bite.

Overall nice, great lambic like characters.

Bottle shared by forgetfu. Thanks. Beer served in a snifter. Beer is yellowish and hazy with a lazy white head, wispy, minimal lacing, moderate carbonation, low retention.

Aroma is fruity, sweet, with a nice lactic, succinic, and mildly harsher aroma, smells good.

Much better than the kriek to me, smoother, better fruit content, and more flavor forward. A nice beer and I'd have more of this for sure.

Batch 1
Brewed 5/29/2010
Bottled 8/16/2011

Shared by forgetfu. Thanks Bill.

The beer is hazy and straw yellow colored with 1/4" white head. The aroma brings peaches, with additional notes of oak, lactic, acetic character. Nice flavor. Tart with prominent peaches. Lingering tartness and sourness. Pretty light in body with moderate carbonation. A solid beer.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Batch 2, bottled 9/26/12, bottle #397.

Appearance - Pale yellow and hazy body. Thin collar after a small white head.

Smell - Peachy. Acidic and grainy. Lots of white wine acidity.

Taste - White wine is even stronger. Overwhelms the peach, but it's still faintly there. Grain.

Mouthfeel - Light and quite sour. Medium body.

Overall - Really tasty. Tastes like a strong berliner.
