A - Pours a clear copper-orange color with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing.

S - Aroma is a mix of grapefruit, citrus, and pine hops with some sweet caramel and biscuit malts.

T - Starts off with a mix of grapefruit and citrus hops with some bitterness and sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, some pine hops with more bitterness and some biscuit malts. The finish is a mix of grapefruit and pine hops with bitterness and sweet caramel and biscuit malts.

M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and bitter finish.

D - Very drinkable. Good hop profile and bitterness with good overall balance.

Pours a light amber color with a white head. Smells of caramel and toffee with a strong grapefruit hoppiness. Some peach and pineapple fruitiness, some orange, and a light tangerine. Just a hint of pine, too. The flavor is a touch on the sweet side with bread and toffee maltiness. Grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, and pine give a solid hop profile. Light bitterness on the finish.

A: Pours a clear golden copper in color with some light amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall creamy white head that reduces to a thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thicker ring around the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light aromas of caramel malt sweetness upfront followed by moderate amounts of citrus/grapefruit, floral, and pine/resin hops.

T: Upfront this beer is quite sweet with a caramel malt body. After that, the hop flavors come along pretty strongly - citrus/grapefruit, floral, and pine/resin. There is a light to moderate amount of hop bitterness which lingers.

M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Slightly oily, slightly sticky but smooth.

O: This is an enjoyable American IPA but is a little too sticky and a little too strong in ABV to be sessionable. Glad I had the opportunity to try this one since I saw the news this week about Firestone Walker divesting from Nectar.

Makes a one finger thick off white head, and has a clear copper colored body.

The aroma mainly comprises of floral and piny characteristics.

Taste wise it's pretty well balanced between the citrusy hops and toffee malt backbone.

Feels medium in body and dry to the palate; however, in the end the citrus qualities wet the palate.

Pours a deep caramel with a double thumbs width cream colored head. A deep caramel, bready aroma hangs alongside some orange. Flavor is a big dose of caramel malt providing some doughiness alongside some citric rind and fruit. Both the flavor and aroma are quite tame. A nice creamy, medium body to this. Overall, a decent brew that I'd try again, though probably not one I will be going out of my way to pick up.

Pours a nice mild golden color with a one finger head.

Aroma is crisp with grassy/ citrusy hops and a bit of a malt backbone

There's some hops upfront with just a bit of malt. Laid back. Nothing offensive.

Lingering citrus character. Not much else I couldn't ask for much better on a hot day.

An easygoing example of the style.

12oz bottle poured into tulip.

A - Hazy orange amber with a small white dense head.

S - Light citrus, grapefruit, and floral hops. A little grainy with hints of caramel malt.

T - Lightly hopped with lots of citrus and grapefruit flavor. Burnt caramel and bready malts provide a solid backbone. Has a short mildly bitter finish.

M - Medium bodied, smooth, a little sticky. Nice lively, prickly carbonation.

O - Decent IPA. Nothing really stands out, but it does have good flavor and drinkability. I wish it was a bit more hoppy.
