This is most likely the first (and maybe only) Bierresto-Friterie on Beerfly. It basically means this is a Belgian Chip shop that also does beer cuisine as well.

Sat on a corner plot, well out of the centre of town (about 200 metres from tramhalt 'Weg naar Vismijn'). It looks nothing special, even when you walk in, you think, "is this the right place"?
It looks like and is a normal chippie, just a couple of tables and chairs, not much in the way of decoration either, but it has a hidden quality.
wait until you see the beer list and menu.

They sell no beers on tap, but have 65 of the best bottled beer Belgium has to offer. I had a 2006 Pannepot for starters, they stock all the Trappists (including Westvletren), La Chouffe, local beers from Strubbe and such classics as Oude Gueuze 3 Fonteinen.

Jeffrey and Vicky are very enthusiastic about their beers and their cooking. Rightly so, my huge Prawns (Scampi) cooked with Garlic and Orval Trappist Beer were superb. My wifes Angus Steak cooked in a Keyte Triple Sauce was equally impressive, as were the beers we had to accompany the meal, a 75cl bottle of Zot Blonde and an Orval.

Well worth searching out, glad we were told about it.
