Notes & Commercial Description:

Enticing, rich and complex, this creation defies easy description. Our 'once-a-year beer' is brewed only during sugaring season with 100% maple sap from our friend Paul Marble in Fayston, VT. No water added! Just barley, hops, and ale yeast.

The beer reminds me of Sticky Ale, a maple beer from Lawson's.

Up front, sweet qualities, maple syrup, wrapped up by brown sugar and caramel. Just a pure maple candy treat. The ABV is well hidden under that sweetness.

Picked this beer up in September at the Waitsfield Farmer's Market. Well, first I drove to the Mad Taco and waited on line to get a ticket that allowed me the possibility of purchasing this beer at said Market. Coming from New York, this was quite the beer geek journey, and well worth it.

The appearance is dark brown with little to no lacing. The consistency is truly amazing, considering there was no water used in the brew process. The smell is sweet and bourbon-like. The taste is excellent. A sugary maple taste, with notes of toffee and caramel. Just awesome.

Overall, just an outstanding ale, unlike anything else. Brewed by the very best!

Out of this world! Best VT beer I've had to date! That is saying something. This beer is well worth the price of admission. Thank God above I showed up at the warren store on the right day!
