Appearance: Black pour with a nice, large coffee-brown head that quickly dissipates
Smell: Mostly roast and coffee, touch of almost dark chocolate, some maple but not enough
Taste: Similar to the aroma, roast malt, dark coffee, dark chocolate and not enough maple
Mouthfeel: Good feel and carbonation, just slightly thin
Overall: I prefer some of there other variants, but a good offering. My complaint is the roast malt and coffee really obscure the maple syrup.

Tasted this at brewfest 2014. A nice beer that I wouldnt mind trying again as beerfest only gives you 4 oz glasses and the lines are kind of long at the Lawsons section. This may have been my favorite beer of the whole Beerfest session. Very subtle maple and real ly just a nice flavor. I usually prefer stouts in Winter but happy to have tasted this one even though it was July. May try to have again at the evening session later tonight.
