Poured into Good Nature snifter. Really excited about this one.
A: jet black with a lacy, one finger brown-copper color head.
S: maple, malt, roasted coffee. Hints of nuttiness and cocoa coming through.
T: amazing. Roasted malt, not as much maple coming through as I thought.
M: so creamy. Medium to heavy body. Very minimal carb, but pairs perfect with the body of the beer.
O: can't wait to crack the barrel aged version. One of the best stouts I've had in a while. Sean Lawson never disappoints.

Tasted this at brewfest 2014. A nice beer that I wouldnt mind trying again as beerfest only gives you 4 oz glasses and the lines are kind of long at the Lawsons section. This may have been my favorite beer of the whole Beerfest session. Very subtle maple and real ly just a nice flavor. I usually prefer stouts in Winter but happy to have tasted this one even though it was July. May try to have again at the evening session later tonight.
