Only thing less than perfect is I want more maple to shine through. Stellar nonetheless.

This beer is superb, pours black as night, with no light shining through, an aggressive pour results in half a finger of brown, sudsy head that dissipates quickly but leaves gorgeous lacing.
Aroma is pleasant and milder then excepted. Consists of caramel, bourbon, maple, with notes of chocolate.
Taste- rich malt flavors of toffee, burned sugar, and maple upfront. hints of chocolate and dark fruit in the backbone. the bourbon is not overpowering in the slightest and the ten percent abv is unnoticeable. mouthfeel of the beer is creamy, slightly oily, very mild carbonation.
overall- an excellent imperial stout, not too sweet or too boozy. if i have the opportunity i would love to buy a couple more of these for the winter.

An incredible example of an imperial stout without BB aging.
Pours jet black with low caramel head.
Smells roasty and some nice sweetness from the maple.
Tastes delicious, deep flavor with the maple being present but complimentary to the roasty malts not overpowering.
Finishes soft and slightly creamy.
Overall, a fantastic beer.
