From 01/18/14 notes. Huge thanks to BeerLayer85 for sharing a bottle of this from this recent VT trip; thanks Ross! 22 oz. bottle poured into a tulip.
a - Pours a murky, yellow-orange color with one inch of off white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of citrus hops, fruity malts, grapefruit, tropical fruity, mangos, floral hops, grains, and light earthy notes. Great nose, lots of citrus and fruits to it.
t - Tastes of bitter citrus hops, grapefruit, fruity malts, bready malts, tropical fruits, earthy malts, and pale malts. Good but decently bitter and more malty than I was expecting.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. Some bitterness but nice.
o - Overall a very good IPA, though personally I prefer Double Sunshine. Awesome nose but this one is a little maltier, worth checking out though. Would love to have it again sometime.
