First had: on tap at Montpelier Farmers Market, Montpelier, VT

A cellared blend of the '09, '10, and '11 Maple Tripple.

Poured into a Lawson's signature plastic cup by S. Lawson himself, this beer was a deep bronze color with a foamy golden-white head. Aroma of maple syrup, caramel malts, wood, booze. Taste followed the nose well, with a hearty booze kick up front, again, woody, maple, toffee, caramel, spiced rum, lots of sweetness, yet not overly or sickeningly sweet. Pretty smooth mouthfeel, but sharp with alcohol, which snapped in pretty quickly in the finish. Didn't detract from the drinkablility for me personally, but I'd imagine it to be a bit much for the casual drinker. Overall quite enjoyable.
