Pours a slightly hazy, dark golden orange color with golden apricot edge and a one finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Minimal spotty lacing left behind.
Dank and luscious with floral hops, sticky resins and a sweet citrus/tropical fruit presence countered by a pale malt backbone. Very earthy with sticky pine needle and fresh cut grass. The resinous notes are followed by stone fruit and citrus sweetness. Hints of tangerine, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and lemon pith along with some bread, biscuit and crackery grains.
Full bodied and slightly boozy with dank, piney resins and sweet citrus/tropical fruit notes countered by pale malt backbone. Grassy pine needle and earthy spruce tip bitterness followed by hints of melon, mango, pineapple and papaya. Also a bit of ruby red grapefruit and citrus zest. The sticky resins and sweeter notes are balanced by biscuity light malts and grainy cracker. Subtle caramel sweetness. Very well balanced with a nicely masked ABV making this beer deceptively drinkable. Not in the same class as some of their other IPAs, but another solid offering from Lawson's.

Picked up a four-pack at the Waitsfield location cooler 8-1-23 for $14.00. Canned 6-5-23; consumed first two for review 8-3-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured deep golden-orange with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is nice, full of light tropical fruit.
Taste is spot on with a light but substantial malt base that displays hopping that gives notes of kiwi of course, white wine, and lemon. Finishes with a touch of white pepper and gooseberry; 6/10 on my scale. Increasing my score to 4.5 after having the second can, so tasty!
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall this is an enjoyable down under DIPA!

On tap at Glory Beer Bar in Philly. I like this beer. Very drinkable at an 8.1% ABV. Reading the label indicates that there is no kiwi fruit used in making the beer. But the Aussie hops and the beer's name certainly lead me in that direction. 4.25
A - Pours a slightly cloudy amber orange. 4.0
S - Slightly sweet in the nose. Some kiwi-like aromas in the nose. 4.5
T - A nice resiny/piney hoppiness with some faintest kiwi tartness to make you think there are kiwi's used. 4.5
MF - Medium body. Hoppy but not particularly dry in the finish. High ABV clearly adds to the body. 4.25

16oz can served in a big snifter. Can is dated 05/??/23. I cannot read the middle two digits. Got this from @Roguer in a LIF associated with NBS BIF #17.
Pours a murky dark amber-orange with a smallish head that settles into a thin even dusting with a few big clumps drifting around. Smell is bubble gum and hay, maybe a little orange.
Taste is interesting. Bubble gum and lime, a ripe fruit vibe that almost hits tropical juice, deep bitterness on the finish. Bitterness builds with more sips, juiciness gets a bit more drowned out. Booziness is noticeable, but more as an afterthought.
Mouthfeel is medium and has a bit of the chalkiness I sometimes get from really hazy IPAs. Overall, this is a really nice beer, aroma is not bad but the rest of the beer totally outshines it.

Poured the color of Baltic amber with a tall manilla head that leaves sheets of lacing.
Aroma lost on my Covid affected nose.
The taste: the Nelson hops brought white grapes and mild stone fruit flavors, the Jade hops a more herbal taste, they worked well together and seemed to be balanced with the malt base which brought some sweetness to the party.
The feel went well with the opaque body; a little viscosity to promote sipping.
OA, very good beer but not sure I could drink more than one of these a day.

Poured from the can into a branded tulip/globe goblet glass. Canned May 16th 2023.
Gorgeous body color of a near perfect amber, highlighting both orange and light caramel bronze colors. Excellent forming IPA head, thick with retention and giant scoops of lacing and staying power, you could stand a spoon in this. Gorgeous light khaki to off white color also.
Delicious hop aroma. Mixes tropical notes of papaya and grass like flavors. Juice up also with a touch of spicy green herbs as well. Hinted sweetness just a hair as well for nice contrasting balance.
Palate just hits wonderful. Delicious and juiced up body bring tropical warmth and light fruit punch flavors, mixing with green leaf and herbal soft bitterness. Finish lingers and gets to a real nice peppery warmth too. Papaya, pineapple, and grass like green warmth abound.
Just a nice delicious and bold grassy and fruity IPA.

Blind tasted, had my roommate choose something completely random at a craft beer store and I reviewed it blind, looked at a picture taken by roommate after.
16 oz can acclimated to what I was told was the proper temperature and poured into a tulip glass.
Pours hazy, I would call the color apricot, slightly dull in saturation. Had a 2ish finger foamy white head.
Initial aroma is dry hoppy with some fruit esters. Honeydew, orange peel, and maybe raspberry? After agitating it's very slightly boozy, rather fizzy and fresh smelling, and maybe a hint of honeydew and maybe kiwi?
Highly suspect this is an IPA.
Initial taste before swallowing is dry and earthy hoppy and peppery with a building alcohol burn. After swallowing the bitterness remains on the top of the back of the tongue and grows stronger, lasting into the aftertaste where it becomes intense, it feels like a pale vibrant green. Notes of dry cut grass, more pepperiness bordering on spiciness, orange, and honeydew (I think).
Now highly suspect that this is a double/triple/imperial IPA.
There's a malty sweetness that I didn't notice until halfway through or so, (I often don't notice sweetness until late in) which lasts into the aftertaste. Getting close to done I can very clearly taste peach. This beer has a lot of pepperiness and bitterness, it's good, but it stings you for sure.
Feel is at a level I like. Juicy but clean, not watery, has a decent amount of body to it. Carbonation is long lasting and a little tingly.
Overall it's intense, I do enjoy it, but it's intense, not a session beer. I definitely crave this level of intensity at times but it's not something I would drink regularly.
Turns out it was Lawson's kiwi double IPA
May buy again, not terribly likely, but maybe if I'm in the mood for an intense bite.
