Lawson's Finest Liquids - Kiwi, poured into a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass.
Look - Pours a hazy golden copper with a luxorious soapy head that retains amazingly well. Abundance of lacing. Perfect looking brew.
Smell - Blast of Nelson hops and other NZ varieties that I'm not familiar with in isolation, love that unique aroma. The other hops are lending floral and spice. On the side are some slightly sweet caramel malts.
Taste - Snappy with a creamy malt intro but then a huge hop blast of resin, floral, spice, and citrus. THIS is how you showcase these NZ hops!
Mouthfeel - Rests hoppy bitter and slightly warm but not overly boozy. Moderately to heavily carbonated. Good drinkability.
Overall - So far this is the best example of Nelson I have had. Solid brew, proves once again that small batch is king! I thought I wasn't overly into Nelson hops until I had this beer, now I'm a believer.

Golden pour, nice and clear, super fluffy two finger Navajo white head, tons of chunky lacing in the glassware.
Aroma is hop forward, redolent of apples and grapes, malt hidden quite well.
Fruity and complex flavors that remind me again of fresh apples and white grapes, nice bitterness at the end. Seems there are a few stages to the flavors as it dances gracefully on the palate right through to the swallow.
Wonderful mouthfeel, slight touch of booziness in the throat, beautifully carbonated, masterful job. Very smooth drinking.
Another fabulous LFL double IPA that I have been waiting to try, and it did not disappoint.
Alpine Bad Boy remains my favorite IIPA that features New Zealand hops, but Kiwi is also a world class beer that is complex, and highly recommended.
