Pours a hazy golden color with a larger white head that settles immediately.

Some floral, fesh hops with a strong note of the alcohol within

Fresh citrus hops compete head to head with the alcohol, the alcohol wins the battle in the end. The first time it enters my mouth, I get the hops and a bit of alcohol. Soon after the alcohol is the dominating force.

It is chewy and oily. It coats the mouth fully.

This is a good beer and I'm glad to have tried it, but I'd rather have Double Sunshine anytime over this. It is surprisingly drinkable for 11%

650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy orange with a nice white head. Good surface foam and retention.

Smell - Herbal hops. Some grapefruit. Lots of sweet malts. Alcohol.

Taste - Herbal hops right up from. A citrus sweetness builds in the middle. It's a blend of hops and sweet malts. Finishes dry, surprisingly. Boozy, though.

Mouthfeel - It's boozy but it's quite drinkable. Medium heavy body.

Overall - Very good, but there are better IPAs of the same style. Lawson's never disappoints, though.
