Canned on October 14th, 2013. My birthday, hooray!
A: Pours a clear amber. Big, tall frothy off-white head. Head fades slowly with substantial lacing left behind. Decent retention.
S: Surprisingly mild aroma. Very mild. A little bit of grapefruit.
T: A little hoppier here but not hugely. Spicy pine and bitter grapefruit. Pretty mild though. Strong bread crusts for the malt kicks in in the finish. Mild wave of bitterness and then a long lingering bitter, spicy and drying finish.
M: Mild and medium bodied. Fairly dry.
O: Not a bad IPA but lacking in a few areas (especially aroma). Pretty mild and easy drinking except it's surprisingly dry and bitter in the aftertaste. Not a huge hop aroma or flavor, just all bitterness. Surprisingly for something that explicitly states "dry-hopped" in the name.
