Canned on 10/5. Got a six pack from my go to beer guy here in Westchester County NY.

a - Pours lighter orange/pale yellow as if you mixed a Caribbean lager like a Carib with an amber IPA. Nice foamy head which dissipates much quicker than Jai Alai.

s - Nice burst of floral and slight citrus hops. Definitely more floral in the nose than Jai Alai which surprised me a little. You definitely get that piney simcoe aroma for sure.

t - Nice medium bite as is goes down. Again, slightly more bitter than Jai Alai in my opinion which, again, surprised me. Definitely packs citrus flavors but is rather light (not in a bad way), but just light.

m - Light body with medium carm. Again, bitter bite as it goes down which is completely gone in the finish.

o - Good IPA. The whole idea of a Caribbean IPA intrigued me, but I had something totally different in my mind than what this beer ended up being. For me, Jai Alai is better. I'd definitely get this again if given the chance, even at 7% ABV I still think this could be a sessionable IPA.

Can from Proof Bottle Shop. I had this beer directly from the can while a t the pool earlier today. Aroma was sweeter than Jai Alai in the way of more mango and pineapple. Aroma was also a touch of pine and earthy grassiness. Taste was sweet tropical fruits, only slightly bitter hops, and lightly roasted malt. Well carbonated and good body to this beer. I should have bought the full 6 pack.

The beer comes in an amber orange color with a foamy white head.

The aroma is fantastic with floral hops, grapefruit, orange, some tropical fruit, as well some sweet caramel malt.

The flavor follows with a punch of citrus orange and tropical fruit in the front, a bit of floral spiciness, and then some clean bready sweetness. There's a good bitterness on the end that lingers.

The body is to light medium.

A nice hop bomb of an IPA.

From 10/12/13 notes. Had this on tap at The Jeffrey at their grand opening party. A 14 oz. pour into a tulip, ran $8...was excited for this one.

a - Pours a somewhat hazy, medium bright orange color with one inch of off white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of fruity malts, toasted malts, citrus hops, grapefruit juice, lemon, and floral hops. Nice and hoppy, pretty good nose.

t - Tastes of citrus hops, fruity malts, toasted malts, light floral hops, with a medium bitter bite to it. Decent, not as hoppy as the nose and bitter...a step down for me.

m - Medium body and moderate to high carbonation. Medium bitter bite in the mouthfeel.

o - Overall a decent DIPA, though I was slightly disappointed as I had high hopes for this one. Nose was good but the taste was more malty and less hoppy, and had a decent bitter bite to it. Worth checking out but not a hop bomb or anything.
