750ml bottle purchased through the Catador Club, poured into a tulip. About a 5oz pour.
A- Pours a thick opaque black color with a thick dark mocha brown head that has decent retention and leaves spotty lacing. Appears fairly similar to Hunahpu.
S- Chocolate fudge, milk chocolate, coffee, a bit of vanilla beans, rum, brandy, oak. Very complex, not quite as aromatic as I was hoping this to be but aroma wise was still fantastic.
T- Huge chocolate fudge notes, creamy milk chocolate, coffee, smooth vanilla beans (although slightly less then regular Hunah), subtle peppers that fit nicely, rum, brandy, oak. Incredibly flavorful, very complex with nice integration of flavors. With everything going on in this it melds very well.
M- Very creamy, extremely smooth, very light alcohol presence, extremely drinkable.
O- This was an absolutely fantastic beer that has a lot going on but melds everything extremely well creating a very flavorful yet very complex beer. The barrels balanced perfectly while still letting the base beer show through very nicely, something I think Cali Brandy didn't manage to do quite as well. This is one of the best barrel-aged stouts I've had and I wish I had more bottles.

Received in a trade (BB Flora was essentially what it cost me). Split with great company over an intense weekend of tastings
A- My god...the thickest of thick. Multiple people dropped their jaw at the sight of this one as it slipped into the glass. Motor oil. Glass may be permanently stained. Little to no head
S- Love the brandy and rum mix. Chocolate donuts and milk chocolate.
T- Rich, sweet, malty goodness. Cocoa. Faint spice layered in with the rum. The rum seems to be picked up more than the brandy. Still a little bit of the teryaki notes that I got from the base beer.
M- Creamy, chewy. Oh so rich. Hefty booze, but not distracting. Maybe the best feel of any barrel aged beer i have had
O- Very complex. Intensely sweet. The base is present, but certainly takes it up a number of notches. Let it warm up and enjoy
