On draft, pours a hazy light pale yellow, with good carbonation.

Flavor is floral and earthy hops, lemon, green tea leaves, grassy, with a strong malt backbone to balance it. The flavors are zesty lemon, caramel, flowers, citrus notes and cracker. This isn't overly complex, very straightforward and refreshing.

Not great, but good enough to sit back and enjoy once in a while.

Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. can into a Russian River pint glass.

A: Pours a hazy light gold, with a 1 1/2 finger white head and good visible carbonation. 4/5

S: Grassy and lemon-citrus hops, and very light cracker malts. A delicate, light aroma but good. 15/20

T: Follows the nose - citrus and grassy hops, light cracker and two-row malts. Hang is a light lingering bitterness. 35/45

M: Very light body, good carbonation sensation, and no alcohol presence to speak of. 9/10

O: Nothing particularly complex, but a nice, enjoyable summer refreshing beer. 16/20

A - pours a straw yellow with a finger+ of near white head. Decent retention and lacing

S - Light sweet tropical fruit notes with grassy hops, mild sweet sugary malt backbone. Relatively tropical

T - Sweet tropical mango type flavors, definitely a wee but grainy and some grassy notes. Nice subtle malty sweetness at the back end. Aftertaste does not longer for long and is well balanced

M - almost light bodied, decent carb it a little on the light end. Relatively thick feeling on the tongue, very drinkable

On tap:
Pours yellow straw, a bite paler than expected, translucent with a nice foamy head that lasts and provides minimal lacing. Nose is lightly fruity-tropical with a bit of farm or meadow grassiness perhaps (background, hard to pinpoint).

The taste starts light and with some tropical fruit - pineapple and mandarin orange. This gives way to a lemongrass that I equate to Sorachi Ace hops (no idea if it's used). I like Sorachi, and this somewhat subdued flavor works even better than other uses of said hops. The feel is quite light and easy drinking, even though the grassy flavors dry the palate a bit too much to be "refreshing".

A pleasant surprise. I had it somewhere they listed it as a hoppy pilsner, which is not correct (per Cigar City website). As stated, it's a nice light feeling, with some fruitiness but also a bit of a pull at the end.
