Reviewed from long-standing notes. Poured from 32 oz. crowler into a Cigar City pint glass.
A: Mildly hazy, nice gold, with a three-finger fluffy white with very good retention especially for a hoppy beer. Moderate visible carbonation.
S: Tropical fruit, grassy, some dank and melon, and a bit of citrus. Light cracker malts. Clean aroma - pretty nice but certainly not hop-punch in the nose.
T: Tropical fruits, tangelo citrus, lightly dank, and melons. Light cracker and two-row malts add just a touch of sweetness. Lemon and orange citrus in the hang, with a light bitterness.
M: Light body, good carbonation sensation. Fairly low alcohol but there is just a touch of ethanol sweetness in the aftertaste.
O: I don't know what the heck dwarf hops really are, but I thought this was tasty. Crisp and easy to drink. Not huge flavors, but it seems well put-together. Rating is given to style.
