Reviewed from (long-standing) notes. Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a Cycle Brewing snifter glass.
A: Up front, there’s no “pfft” when the bottle is opened – a worrisome sign. Pours very dark brown and essentially opaque. A mild amount of visible carbonation, and a thin tan head forms but recedes quickly.
S: Big coffee up front, with some roasted malt bitterness and cacao. Hints of vanilla and pipe tobacco on the back end.
T: Coffee again – a moderately bitter black coffee. Mocha and baker’s chocolate, then dark roasted malts. Some bits of a musty leathery sweetness. A lingering bitter mocha flavor in the hang.
M: A smooth, heavy mouthfeel with fairly low carbonation sensation; although not as flat as I was afraid it might be. The alcohol presence is well-hidden.
O: Good coffee flavors in a beer with a nice, thick mouthfeel. Where could you go wrong? It isn’t complex, but in as much as it’s one-note, it plays that note with passion.

Shared bottle.
Smells great and tastes nearly as good.
Too sweet for some I suppose and with a clear coconut note this won't appeal to everyone, but I loved it. Would be super as an after dinner beer.

Thanks to rudzud for sharing.
Darker fizzy slight fluffy foamy 1/2 finger head fades at a med pace, long thick legs, pitch black color.
Nose is interesting, fresh big coffee, fruity coffee, mild roasty, light fudge in the background, earthy char, fair toasty aroma like toasted coffee beans, dark choc gets more, flash of fresh vanilla bean, little caramel too.
Taste big fresh chocolate, earthy dark choc and fudgey cocoa, into fresh coffee, fruity toasty coffee, mild roasty, and an interesting earthy mossy like coffee flavor. Toasted malts, mild roasty, fair vanilla late, fresh brewed coffee, mild earthy hop bitterness, little caramel candy. Finish smooth fudgey cocoa, roast, earthy fruity coffee, mild bitterness.
Mouth thick fudgey, chewy, nice carb, no booze.
