Had this on 2012-04-22 in Lititz, PA. Special thanks to matador677.
A - Fantastic. Completely opaque black with a remarkably dark brown, 1-finger head that is surprisingly lively. It reminded me of bubbling mud pits in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
S - Roasted grain, milk chocolate, plum.
T - Dark roasted grain, plum, tart grape skins, milk chocolate, chalk and some toffee/molasses sweetness. It finishes nicely tart and rich with a hint of coffee and a just-right amount of hop bitterness.
M - Thick body and surprisingly medium carbonation. Smooth, creamy, lucious.
O - Just a top shelf Imperial Stout. I'd like to try the other varieties of this fine brew.
