A - Pours like motor oil. Jet black color doesn't allow any light to pass through. Very dark brown two-finger head leaves thick lace clinging to the sides of the glass.
S - Sweet toffee. Roasted dark maltiness really dominates along with some big notes of coffee.
T/M - Overly sweet, chocolatey coffee up front. The roasted malts really come through in the taste as well. Has quite a bitter finish that hangs around for awhile. Full-bodied with a surprising amount of carbonation. That really helps balance out the feel.
O - No complaints with this one. Really glad I got my hands on a bottle, and would definitely try another one.
