12oz bottle

With a summer pilsner at 5.5%, I was hoping for a refreshing beer with a good amount of flavor. However, the beer is not refreshing in the least and the flavors were a bit of a letdown. The aftertaste is probably my least favorite part of the beer, I don't know if it is the hops that are not agreeing with my palate. Overall, probably one of my least favorite CCB beers that I've tried.

2013 Bottle say 7% ABV

A- poured a golden yellow with a small white head that had almost no retention whatsoever. not very many micro bubbles to be seen when held up to the light.

S-a nice clean malt with a hint of hops comes across on the nose for me other than that smells of a normal pilsner.

T- clean crisp taste with a slight citrus working for it.

M- thin with a very nice carbonation feel to it.

O- Its whatever to me honestly. Its a pilsner nothing special but not bad. Wont be searching this one out.

Arrives bright yellow with a small white head that drops fast but leaves scattered lace.
Smell is almost non-existent, just a faint hint of malt and tortilla.
Taste is thankfully more pronounced with malt, hops, tortilla and a hint of pine. Balance is good.
On the light side of medium bodied, medium carbonation. Leaves a decent malt aftertaste. A decent enough beer but not their strong suit, the lagers.

My bottle says 7.00% ABV. Tasted 13 August 2013.

Pours a medium golden yellow, clear. Half-finger of white head, okay retention and not much lacing. Meh.

Smell is grainy, with that lightly sweet pilsener malt sense. But that's about all there is - nothing at all from hops, nothing interesting. Fine, but dull.

Taste is similarly... fine. Starts out grainy, picks up a touch of zip and a handful of bitter in the back end. But there's just not a whole lot to it, and what is there is muddled rather than clean.

Feel is on the flat side, and buttery mouth-filled. I want it to be lighter and peppier.

A fine, but uninspiring, pilsener. Kinda full and chewy in ways I don't want it to be. No freshness, no lightness, no zing.

A: Poured a clear yellowish straw color with decent carbonation leaving a short lived fizzy head

S: Corn, grass, smells a little sweet as well

T: Initial taste of some light grass and a dab of citrus with a corn like note followed up by a little bit of sweetness, perhaps a little to sweet for me. The finish is moderately dry with a short lived hop bitterness

M: Well carbonated, light bodied

O: Not to shabby, easy to drink.
