12oz can poured into a tulip. 1/27/14 on the bottom.
A: Pours a slightly cloudy darkish amber orange with an average off white head on top. Leaves some nice lacing as the head slowly dissipates. Just a little bit of visible carbonation.
S: Real nice fresh hop aroma on this one. A blend of resinous hops, pine and citrus all meld together in harmony. A slight malt sweetness brings up the rear, evening out the aroma.
T: Very balanced yet extremely hop forward beer. Much more flavor comes from the hops as opposed to straight bitterness. Dont get me wrong there is a heavy dose of bittering, just a very well done blend of hop flavor. Malts come in on the backend giving a sweetness.
M: Medium body with ample carbonation. Smooth and creamy for an IPA, bit of the nectar like mouthfeel I enjoy. Very easy drinker.
Overall always a very solid offering that has great flavor and is something you could enjoy all night. Real happy they've made their way up here!
