Can to HFS sniffer
A: Orange honey colored that is pretty cloudy with more hop floaters then I have seen in any other beer. There is also a tan to white head that leaves a ring around the glass
S: Lots of Mango and melon hop smell very tropical and pleasant not much else there but I don't mind
T: There is a lot of hops up front, but they are not as citrusy as the smell may have indicated that isn't necessarily a negative thing just not what I expected. As the taste moves on the hop bitterness is near perfectly balanced out with the malt it is a little watery tasting but thats it. This makes the beer really easy to drink. The finish is pretty solid as the bitterness starts to come out again but it does taste a little flat there. Though I would mention not to drink it super cold as the malt comes out more or at least thats what I have found.
M: The mouthfeel is smooth and oily like an ipa should be and very drinkable with the 7.5% abv being completely hidden
O: The first time I tried this beer I did not like it at all but tasting it now a second time I realize this is a solid hop forward balanced easy drinking IPA now that CCB is being distributed in VT I think I will be enjoying this beer much more regularly especially due to its sessionablity and high abv. There is one thing I will say is although it was quite good it did not blow my mind by any means.
