Poured from a 12 oz can (dated Sept 24th, served Oct 19th) into a pint glass
Appearance: Amber/copper-orangish with a nice white lacing. Not too thick of a head
Smell: Citrus; notes of grapefruit. Very floral/tropical (although since I'm in Florida, maybe I'm projecting that).
Taste: It's a very clean taste (not too filtered). The hops come through very nicely without being too dominant. There is also a nice citrus (coriander & grapefruit)? taste in the background. Leaves a very pleasant after taste.
Mouthfeel: Sweet, light. very true to style.
Overall: Definitely lives up to the hype. I should mention that I am not a hop head, I'm not even a big IPA fan, plus, its October (I should be drinking an Octoberfest), but this beer defies the odds. It is an amazing IPA. Definitely one of the best IPAs I've ever tried. In fact, it almost restores my faith in IPAs. If you're thinking about picking this up or trying it, definitely do it.
