Canned May 1 2013 poured into Shorts pint
Pour: Pour produced a huge 4 finger rocky, pillowy bright white head that refused to say goodbye. Lacing is all over the glass from top to surface of the beer. Color is a hazy, cloudy burn orange with some floaties.
Smell: Wonderful splash of all the big citrus fruits: pineapple, mango, melon, peach, tangerine, pineapple and grapefruit thrown in at the end for good measure.
Taste: Citrus rules the taste too with all the above noted aspects. It is a juicy citrus forward hopped beer. A very smooth not too bitter IPA that is a perfect addition to a visit to the beach or other hot summer day activity.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, creamy medium bodied with medium carbonation. This is a sticky feeling beer with a bitter-sweet finish.
Overall: I had a Zombie Dust just before this and ZD is fantastic but I find this just so much easier to drink because it is so damn smooth and citrus bitter-sweet perfection.
Serving type: can
