Serving Type - Can

Appearance - Golden tan/light brown with a 3/4 inch foamy head. Unfiltered floaters with a nice sticky lacing.

Smell - Sweet hops, lemon, pineapple, orange, mango, some caramel malts. A little herbal note along with all the tropical fruits.

Taste - Much like the aroma, a load of tropical fruits mixed with a malt backbone. The tropical fruits are sweet and bold, with a herbal flavor. Floral and earthy, really drinks like you are having real, fresh fruits in the beer. Minor bitter , with minimal add sugars, makes this flavorful, yet not too sweet or bitter and very easy to enjoy.

Mouthfeel - Tropical fruits nail the tongue. Palate gets more fruits along with a nice malt backbone. Aftertaste is fruity sweet, a little malty and bitter.

Overall - Really nice flavorful beer. Has a real distinct fruity flavor that's smooth and easy to enjoy. Very balanced yet the hops stand out. Really glad to get to try this, my first cigar city beer. I cant get this too easy, but if I did, this would make my regular rotation, world class for sure.

Filled up a growler in New York on Sunday after having it on draft at Prost in Garden City.

Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to singer layer. It is a hazy pale orange that has good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Nice frothy lacing on the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Super ripe tangerine, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango followed by pale caramel and toasted malts. Floral and herbal notes too.

Taste: Whoa, this is like eating real fruit. Herbal, tropical, and citrus with super mild bitterness, caramel, and toasted malts.

Mouthfeel: Super smooth, slight tingly bitterness, a little chewy, medium bodied, and medium carbonation. Extremely enjoyable to drink.

Overall: This beer is truly amazing. Each sip gets better and better. Bummed that the growler is almost gone.

Hate to not drive the Hype-Machine with my most notable local brewer.

It is a very good IPA and lots of distinct floral notes and good hops. However, I'm just not into this blend as others. Very well done and very drinkable especially by can, local and fresh.

I still grab this from time-to-time just to support them and have a change up in IPA taste that I like, but I will be eagerly trying many of their other beers.
