Served in a funkwerks goblet - nice tangerine body with a huge white fluffy head. Pretty pungent aroma - tangerine, tropical fruit, mango, papaya and even some nice maltiness (akin to the first aroma that hits the nose upon walking into a brewery). Flavors follow suit pretty closely - relatively light bodied and light bitterness. Good stuff.

Canned 10/29/13. Poured into a snifter. Thanks for the trade, Cliff!
A: opaque burnt orange. A half-finger off-white head that dissipates quickly. Good lacing.
S: A citrus bomb featuring mango and grapefruit. Delightful.
T: Wow! Mangos, grapefruit and orange peels blend in for a rich and very balanced taste sensation. Low bitterness. Sweet and delicious.
M: medium to heavy with medium carbonation.
O: Now I see why this one's so popular. My new favorite IPA, beating (dare I say it?) Heady Topper. Could drink this one in abundance. Well done, Cigar City.

Appearance is amber or maybe dark orange with head of about two inches or so.
Odor is piney and floral. I think those two some it up. One word-great.
Taste first hits you with a lot of hops and pine. I don't think the hops are overpowering and do not overbalance the overall taste. There is still some malt and little citrus perhaps. Nice finish.
Mouth feel is not heavy, but full.
Overall, this beer starts with hops upfront. They are not overpowering however and it is well balanced overall. Excellent IPA pretty much from start to finish.

Hazy amber color with a thick head with good retention and leaving laces.
Predominant aroma of grapefruits and mandarines. Hints of pine and earthy hops.
Slighlty acidy citric flavor with notes of pine, grapefruit, pepper and earth. Hops are not overpowering given its malt backbone.
Medium body with good carbonation. Alcohol of 7.5% abv is very well hidden.
A flavorful IPA with great balance, but also relatively mellow enough to be sessionable. Quite different from the tropical Cigar City Dry hopped on the High Seas.
