A nice clear copper color with deep white to tan lasting head.

S so much going on...where to start...Nice in your face fresh hop aroma. fantastic blend of citrus and mango. very floral

T fruit up front pine in the end. fantastic blend of late addition hops. hops and malt sweetness are in complete balance.

M medium light body with a nice malt sweetness

O This beer should be talked about in the same discussion as Heady Topper. Unlike most AIPA, this one is not overly bitter and extremely well balanced. the overly sharp hop bitterness that's associated with ipa's is balanced by the malt sweetness. In all honesty, YES i have had heady topper (family lives not far away i have it a lot) YES i have tried Gandhi bot the brewery is down the street. YES i have had pliney the pine bomb elder (i like that about pliney). If i had to choose of the three, I'm going to take the Jai Alai. it is now available in NYC so I am able to get my hands on it, and for that i am grateful!

Canned 10/22/2013. Served in a tulip glass.

Appearance: Pours a dark orange color with one finger of a slightly off white head. Body is hazy with some fine suspended sediment.

Smell: Lots of tropical fruit notes such as mango, pineapple as well as orange, peach, and some slight piney notes and some sweet maltiness to balance it out.

Taste: Follows the aroma pretty closely. Starts out with some sweet malt followed by more tropical fruits, grapefruit and stronger piney notes than in the aroma. Bitterness is medium

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, thick mouthfeel with medium levels of fine carbonation. Slight alcohol warmth after the finish. Smooth, but drinks bigger than the 7.5% that it is.

Overall: Really good stuff. Tons of tropical and citrus hop qualities with a good malt backbone to keep things balanced. Definitely worth trying if you can get it.

This beer is great, really citrusy and bitter. Tastes like drinking orange/grapefruit juice straight outta the can. More like citrus juice than the other IPAs. Most comparable to Elevated IPA from Le Cumbre or Sculpin from Ballast Point. Tried in Florida while there for an interview.

Wow, this is a great canned IPA. Canned 10/16.

Pours a nice hazel-orange with almost no head (if you tilt pour!) and smells like spring time...flowers and fruits and rainbows (not the rainbows really). Tastes phenomenal. Really holds its own against other IPAs. Super smooth drinking, I wish I had a lot more of this! Would highly recommend, enjoy! Cheers
