A- Orange golden hue. Medium lacing with minimal head for an IPA.

S- Lemons, orange, hops, grapefruit. This beer smells wonderful.

T- Follows the nose. More tropical fruit in this beer than in any other IPA that I have had.

M- Very smooth. Carb follows down the throat. Really good M on this one.

O- I don't really enjoy many IPA's, but this one I do.

Reviewed from notes. Poured this 12 oz can into a Sam Adams glass. Canned Feb 11 2013 and consumed not long after. The body was bright orange/copper and had yeasty bits in suspension. The off white head left minimal lacing.

The smell was like orange juice and bread dough. Crisp fall leaves. Simple and clean.

The taste was of orange rinds with a light bready sweetness. Juicy and so flavorful - I could drink this all day! There was a nice lingering bitterness that dried out leaving me drinking this one way too fast.

The mouthfeel was a bit slick with an understated carbonation. Medium body. Solid and worthy of the glowing reputation.

I had this before from a bottle, but the legendary woodychandler hooked me up with a can, and it was even better. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a orange/brownish color with a 1/2 inch head.Smell is very hoppy, some notes of citrus. Taste is the smae, big hops up front, some citrus, bitter and dry, a tasty beer. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a good quality beer.

A: This poured a hazy dark gold with some off white head.
S: It smelled like loads of pine and dank herbal hops, with some grapefruit and wild flower honey.
T: It tasted like candied grapefruit and pine, with some herbal hops and sweet honey. It had a clean bitter aftertaste.
M: It was somewhat thick with moderate carbonation. Good body.
D: This was a solid IPA with great hoppy scent and taste. The body was fine, and the finish was not harsh despite all the bitterness. So it was pretty easy to drink, and improved further as it warmed. Seems like this could fade quickly, so make sure to drink this brew while it's fresh if possible. Delicious.
