Bottle from the brewery that my girlfriend picked up on the road.
Pours a cloudy orange with a huge, rocky white head that lingers.
Smells of subtle grapefruit, apricot, guava, malt sweetness, and some bready yeast character also comes through. Floral and delicate yet overt enough.
Up front mix of fruit with the guava coming through that fades into a further fruit flavor that mixes with some malt and slightly phenolic/lemony yeast character, and ends on a dry yet sweet in flavor note...really nice.
Really high carbonation...which is good for the style, this one pushes the envelope. Lighter body and just enough alcohol presence....well done.
Honestly, I am impressed with this beer. It is a complex farmhouse-style beer that is fruity/floral and completely drinkable. It has all the trappings for the style and a unique identity in itself. Get on it.

A phenomenally bubbly rush of snappy straw colored soapy head. Cloudy orange-red brew. Not overly appetizing. Lacing is weak.
Tart, lemon-lime, horsey aroma, clove. Strong. Of course, Guava too. Slightly too much funk.
Nicely bitter and smooth. Much more rounded than the appearance shows. Heavy effervescents. Sweetness is spot on and translates fruit nicely. Lots of dry, earthy, ripe, bitter, guava, clove, spice, and smooth light dry sour factor. Sourness is not over the top it's greatly dulled by heavy bitter bite.
A very unique beer. It's close to what I thought it would be and it didn't let me down. A nice risky take by CCB. Solid and worthy. I wouldn't give up much in trade, but still worthy.
