Portion of a 750ml bottle into a Hunahpu's snifter. From notes.
A: Pours a dark brown color. The head is...well, not really existent; it's just an offwhite-shade ring.
S: This has a lot of hazelnut, caramel, brown sugar, and even some chocolate. A good 'sweet' aroma.
T: There's a good nutty flavor to start. The midtaste and finish sees a minor appearance of balancing hops, caramel qualities, and some lighter fruits.
M: The body is medium, without too much sweetness or booziness. I could use a bit more creaminess, but that's nitpicking.
O: One of the better brown ales I've had - which is the same thing I said about Maduro, I do believe. The more I have from Cigar City, the more I think they really know what the hell they're doing down there in Florida.
