A: very dark brown. Almost black in color. Barely any head, but what does form is a thin dark cream. Little retention. Appears flat.
S: yeah, smells like coffee. And there is a slight coffee sourness, perceptible, but not overwhelming.
T: strong taste of coffee. Espresso actually. Moderate sweetness and very light lactose quality. Dark , deep roasted malts. A bit of char. Coffee bitterness on the finish.
M: full bodied, chalky, moderated bitterness.
O: a nice beer. Certainly heavy on the coffee, which I imagine it should be.
Serving type: growler

This beer is black, like oil but not as heavy and viscous though certainly thick, rich and robust in appearance. It's nitro creamy, the silky tan head leaving a broken sheet of lace almost all the way down the glass. It's a real beauty, with a balance between thick, rich and strong against soft and creamy; it looks like it works to me.
Café con leche to perfection; this beer really is like drinking coffee with milk in it. It's not like average, pretty good or good coffee, either. This smells and tastes like high-grade, premium stuff like I could barely get from kopi. Somehow this beer is brewed so that the ingredients used and how they're brewed give so much flavor, and the roast managed so well to at once serve to remind me this is beer while adding to the fresh coffee effect. This is fresh just-ground premium dark roast with a little milky sweetness and so much creamy flavor that I swear there must be half-and-half in it. It's beautiful, it's silky, it's roasty, it's a little nutty, it's just barely smoky, it's smooth as anything, and it's one of the most delicious stout of any kind I've ever had the pleasure of drinking.
The body is full but leans the direction of medium without losing anything. The roast adds a dryness that contrasts with the otherwise silky smoothness of the nitro. It's not a perfectly smooth flow on the tongue, but it's fantastic nonetheless.
Serving type: nitro-tap
