Had a 2012 bottle.
Don't really do too many reviews on here, but I'd waited so long to try this one I figured I'd do a quick one.
Appearance - viscous like you wouldn't believe. Straight motor oil.
Smell - Smelled cold and didn't get much. As it warmed, got a good dose of chiles.
Taste - Very solid. Having said that, no trace at all of cinnamon and only very subtle vanilla. Chiles were very subtle and nice, and as it warmed they were brighter and nice. No hint of alcohol.
Mouthfeel - Great for the style. Never know what to say in this category. Felt like a stout?
Overall. Gotta say, a little undewhelmed. Very solid, but I think the two years aging actually did a lot of harm. Would love to try this thing fresh. Bomb!, Mexican Cake...Those are beers I personally find to be best consumed fresh.
Again, we didn't get any cinnamon and only a vague hint of vanilla between five of us. Good but not great.
