750 ml bottle acquired in a trade with tpd975, thanks again Greg for sending this, split with a friend Friday night, reviewed from notes, drank from a flute glass, color is dark brown with some orange tones at the bottom of the glass, looked a bit like a black and tan, one inch off white head that is pretty foamy, aroma consists of piney hops, floral accents, earthiness, almonds, cashews, whole grains, bread, roastiness, light brown sugar, and mild hidden citrus, flavor starts off with a nice dry hop flavor, roasted malts and toasted bread in the middle, finishes dry and the oatmeal and rye combination actually sticks out, aftertaste is piney hops mixed with chewy malts, does not change much more as it warms, but already very complex, dry, chewy, roasty, toasty, and hoppy mouthfeel, medium bodied on the thicker side, moderate carbonation, taste lingers a good amount of time, pretty light on the stomach, nine percent is hidden great, goes down like a standard IPA but is really much more as far as flavor profile goes, one of the more interesting beers I have had in a long time, my friend hit on the head when he said it tastes like a heavily hopped blend of an oatmeal stout, rye IPA, and nutty brown ale, it might be for all I know about the brew, would definitely drink again though, recommended

A-Black in the glass, three finger off white head with lacing.
S-Rye spiceness, coffee, roasted malt and caramel.
T-Starts with mainly rye the caramel and coffee (seems slightly faded), strong malt presence with enough hops in the finish to balance it out.
M-Medium bodied, creamy but over carbonated.
O-Lots of different flavors, but they worked well together, a solid beer from CCB.
