Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Duvel tulip.
Pours a very dark amber brown with a 1 finger creamy light tan head. Good lacing.
Smell: Espresso with light touches of chocolate and malt. It smells like I just walked into a coffee shop. Smells delicious.
Taste: Coffee is dominant throughout, which in this case is a very good thing. There are light touches of hops and chocolate in the middle and toasted malt at the finish. Aftertaste is mildly bitter with a typical coffee aftertaste. This is like drinking iced coffee.Extremely well-balanced and delicious.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a fairly high amount of carbonation. Goes down very smooth.
Drinkability: Excellent drinkability. You could knock back a few of these without any trouble.
Overall: Excellent beer overall. This is the best flavor I've ever gotten from a coffee infused beer. I really like that Cigar City went a different direction and blended the coffee with a brown ale instead of a stout. I would highly recommend this beer to anyone, especially coffee lovers.

Appearance is a clear dark brown color with a half finger head.
Aroma is incredible. Roasted coffee beans, and roasty malt. Maple bacon coffee porter aroma minus the syrupy maple smell.
Taste is sweet at first but dark roasted coffee dominates after that. Maybe some bittersweet chocolate flavors as well.
Mouthfeel is thin but the coffee flavor does linger slightly on the back end.
This is a great alternative to an after dinner coffee. The body is thin enough to not put you over the edge. The carbonation is there but not too much.
Nicely done and I'm thankful I got to try it.
