Thanks to McDiddyPop for this one.
A- Pours a deep caramel but lets in some light around the edge of the glass. On the pour, there is a nice one finger head that sticks around for a while and leaves some pretty good lacing on the side of the glass.
S- They weren't kidding with the name on this one. I pick up oatmeal, cinnamon and to a lesser extent, the raisin. I also pick up some other spice and a dash of nutmeg. I could smell this beer all day.
T- The taste is more dominant with some roasted malts, oatmeal and raisins. The more sips you take, the more each flavor becomes more apparent.
M- Medium bodied that has a very creamy texture which the carbonation lends to.
D- This is a fine example of American ingenuity when it comes to brewing. The name is spot on and if you like oatmeal raisin cookies, this is a must try. Looking forward to trying more from Cigar City.
