Notes & Commercial Description:

This is an American White Oak-aged version of Jai Alai India Pale Ale. The white oak adds smoothing notes of vanilla and slight hints of dill to the aroma and flavor profile. The finish is elegantly dry due to the light tannin notes from oak aging and though still loaded with hop flavor, hop bitterness is more restrained.

Super clean smell. Aroma of super fresh lime. A copper color with nice head. You can definitely taste a difference between this an a normal Jai Alai. The timber taste envelopes your tongue immediately with hints of lime and pine as it goes down. Light mouthful with a perfect bite to it. This is one of my favorite IPAs I've tasted to date.

What a unique beer. First aroma is hop, citrus, vanilla and wood. Upon first sip much of the same, but the hop/pine aroma makes way for citrus and vanilla with a hint of dill. I would have liked more hop presence to announce itself through the beer, but other than that, excellent beer.

Pours Cooper, with a fluffy, lacy head. Smells sweet, hops and dried citrus fruit. Tastes of dried banana, refined citrus hops and finishes with vanilla. Not bitter. Feels creamy, lasting and dry.

Quite possibly the best aroma of any IPA I have ever had. So insanely fresh and bright, with tons of piney/citrus bursting through. As great as regular Jai Alai is, White Oak is just on another level. I have had this many times, both at the brewery on draft and in bottles/cans. This rating is based on the most recent batch - It was canned 4 days ago.

Love this beer

I like the regular Jai Alai, I would give it a 8 of 10...This version tastes like i poured it into the hamster cage at the pet store and squeezed out the beer from pee soaked bedding layer or whatever its called below into my glass...1-4pk per person at my location, I am thankful for that. I had 3 other seasoned craft beer drinkers that love IPA's try and they agreed. Blah...I'll stick with the regular Jai Alai! Canned on 2-11-15.

Really great beer. Finally got some to try some of this. My can is only 7 days old. Man it doesn't get much more fresh then this.

Can't say I prefer this to reg Jai Alai but it does stand up there.

On draft at CCB, served in a Spiegelau snifter. Pours a dark golden color, almost amber. Nose is coconut with an oak finish. Taste is tropical fruit, vanilla, hops, with a slightly dry and bitter finish. Super smooth. One of my all-time favorites from CCB.
