12oz can. No date. Served in a Cigar City snifter 2/25/2015.

A- Dark brownish-red body, one finger offwhite head with very nice retention, nice lacing and residual film.

S- Grassy aromas, lots of mild toffee and grainy bread. Floral and citrus aromas.

F- Tastes great; nice toffee, bread, crackers mixed in with a nice citrus bite and floral finish that makes me think of the tapioca bubbles that you get in asian bubble tea drinks.

M- Medium bodied, certainly substantial for a red ale, nice crisp kick on the finish that is refreshing.

O- Tasty, reasonably unique tapioca bubble aroma and flavour. Not a bad one to have in front of you.

My wife and I agree that this is one of the best red ales that we've had. Will have to try this one again.

Amber copper pour with beige head from 12oz can; grassy citrus nose; balanced malt and hop start; slightly resinous finish with grass and orange peel flavors. Medium lite mouthfeel with good carbonation;overall a tasty ale with a slightly bitter ending; nice.

Almost murky, more-brown-than-red ale, topped by a firm cream head with excellent retention and leaving long lines of lacing.

Lovely aroma blending citrus and floral hops with brown sugar and caramel. Bright and bready.

Flavor beautifully matches the aroma, with sweet juicy citrus notes up front, tons of caramel and brown sugar throughout, a slightly green, herbal edge to the bitterness, lots of bread to the malt, and a bitter, citrus peel-tinged finish.

Lively mouthfeel, slightly slick and syrupy, long wet and oily finish.

This is a lovely, tasty ale, reminiscent of a lower ABV version of Brown Shugga.
