Notes & Commercial Description:

Pours amber in color with notes of citrus and caramel. Citrus hop bitterness upfront with notes of caramel and an Amish bread sweetness. Citrus hop bitterness returns at the end for a long dry finish.

12oz can a few weeks old - received as an extra in a trade

A- pours a murky, cloudy reddish mud color - not the best start, but a good head with heavy lacing
S- Citrus hops with a hint of stone fruit sweetness
T- Smooth malt with a kick of hops. Not sure but there is a slightly unusual almost metallic edge to the aftertaste bitterness. Not my favorite
M - decent body, but not noteworthy.

Overall not entirely sold on this. It is good, and I am glad i tried it, but a harshness to the hop profile wasn't my favorite.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a snifter.

Pours a clear deep amber body with a 2 finger whie head that reduces to leave a ring of foam and some blotchy lacing

Smell is hoppy, floral, piney, sitting on a light malt backbone. Upfront I get semisweet caramel and toffee, followed by floral and piney notes finished with a slightly roasty, resinous aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation.

I really liked this one - nothing huge but definitely drinkable and tasty. Wish I had constant access to it!

Delicious. Orange peels, malty goodness, and really balanced. It's everything an imperial red ipa should be.
