Dense thick foam capped a hazy copper hue. The lacing was thick and sticky.
Obviously this Red Ale is immensely hopped as I catch tons of fruit on the nose. Oranges, lemon, and tangerines with a bit of caramel malt.
I taste oranges, lemon and tangerines but also get raspberries. Some bitter hop pine, comes near the finish. The body is laced with caramel malts and subtle residual sweetness.
The feel is a bit bitter slightly astringent and sort of full. A bit of carbonated bite eats at the palate.
This is a fully hopped ale with tons of complexity and lots of flavor.
