Poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy ruby color with a nice thick off white heading. Globs of lacing all over the place.
Heavy piney notes as I popped the cap off but as I poured into my glass I noticed this was more of a malt bomb. The aroma's of caramel and brown sugar were very enticing.
Taste is all malt baby. Big notes of caramel, chocolate, brown sugar and even a touch of vanilla. After all of this it still was a little disappointing no hoppy background to what I would have expected.
Medium bodied,a little thin and boozy in the mouth.Decent carbonation.
This was a a good beer but something I wouldn't want to try again.
