12oz can poured into a snifter. Canning date smeared on the bottom.
A: Pours a clear very light pale yellow with a white head on top. The head is fairly quick to dissipate, leaving a ring around the edge. No lacing.
S: Lots of coriander in this aroma that blends with a citrus aroma from what must be the curacao peel. Yeastiness in the background.
T: The flavor is substantial in this brew with a range of spices, fruitiness and Belgian yeast. The coriander and yeast combination is fairly strong but the flavor isnt dominated by them. Floral aftertaste from the hops.
M: Light body with a sizable dose of carbonation. Refreshing and crisp finish that works great on a summer day.
Overall real drinkable beer with a load of flavor. While it may not be my style this one can be appreciated for being finely crafted. A much better alternative to any of the macro wheat beers.

Pours a hazy pale straw color with a huge two-finger-plus head and plenty of effervescence. The head dissipates pretty quickly yet some amount retains for a good long time simply because there is so much of it. The nose is soapy. The flavor profile includes wheat upfront and something funny that is hard to place and not terribly pleasant. The finish is dry.
Unimpressive, to say the least.

a bit baseline for cigar city, who obviously makes some of the most outlandish and delicious ales on the market. this is a coriander heavy white ale, loosely belgian, and not as good as i expected it to be, although still quite tasty and certainly refreshing. the nose on it is rather floral from the yeast and the hops, cool complexion. the taste is just dumbed down a bit to me though, lacking the dramatic engagement i usually get from cigar city beers. that said, it is a clean finishing well carbonated very summery white ale, and in hot muggy florida weather, i see it as an excellent choice for refreshment. lost in a crowd of awesome craft beers i think, but a decent example of the style. wishing for more of a belgian yeast profile in the taste, and maybe a little more dryness in the feel, but overall a solid brew.

Pours a slightly hazed gold with a thumb of cream colored head. No head retention or lacing
S: Pears, grainy notes, orange peels
T: Pears, white pepper, white grapes, & a little orange peel up front. More pear as this warms, a little bit of Golden Delicious Apple as well, ever so faint phenolic notes. Finishes with pears & a little bit of coriander, plus dryness
MF: Light bodied, slight carbonation
Fairly clean tasting Wit, works in the heat, but not terribly interesting
