Pours a hazy straw color. The head is smallish but fluffy white.
The aroma is spicy with coriander and orange peel.
The taste is quite assertive. There are some bold flavors of peppers and spice in there as well as some citrusy hops. It is also sweet tasting.
Moderate on the palate with some low carbonation.
Cracker is a pretty good beer and quite bold.

Pours a weird color, somewhere in limbo between straw and yellow with a pretty hefty haze, giving a grungy, unfiltered look and feel. The skull-white head grows and then bellies up almost instantly - completely vanished within 20 seconds of the pours. Being so volatile, a quick swirl can bring it back, but only for a very brief moment. Aroma is packed with some nice spices; clove, coriander, and other warming spices. Some moderate bubblegum on the very tail end thanks to the Belgian yeast. Not really picking up much of a hop flavor - maybe some lightly floral notes deep down in there, but it's stretch.
Pretty light on the palate with a thin-medium body, densely packed with carbonation; crispy and snappy on the tongue. Orange peel and lemon zest come out in the flavor right away - the lemon more so as it warms up. More clove, coriander, and perfume-like spices jump on the palate while a very light hop profile makes its way in. Slighty wet and floral, they are almost too far in the background to matter, though. I'm picking up a moderate funky flavor and aroma near the latter half of the beer now - corky, musky, cellar-like, wet wood. Is this a characteristic of the yeast strain? It was actually quite pleasant, not overpowering or off-putting at all - a nice little addition. Very "wet" on the palate despite the high carbonation. At times, it seemed a bit watered down and not packed with as much flavor as it should've had - but at 5% ABV, you've gotta give them some leeway.
Listed as a witbier, but it drank more like a spin-off of a toned down Belgian style. Not a bad crack at the style, especially when you consider the relatively low ABV, but nothing comes close to the real thing. I could imaging this one going down well on a warm beach somewhere.

Poured on-tap at the Cigar City Brewing tasting room in Tampa. The beer was served in a pint glass, and it poured a slightly hazy, pale gold color with no head. The nose is very muted, with floral (juniper?) smells, and very light spicing. The beer is light and smooth, with flavors of slight sour citrus and a smooth, bready spicing. Light in mouth, this beer has an aftertaste that is mostly coriander spicing. The finish is minimal and quick, making an easy drinker.

A hazy light golden beer with an enthusiastic head. The soapy white foam quickly fades with little head retention.
A soft wheat malt sweetness and a medium-low Belgian yeast aroma that is mostly spicy with a light fruit character. There is a light citrus peel aroma along with a moderate earthy hops aroma.
The soft malt sweetness and moderate bitterness are up front quickly followed by a medium citrus flavor that is comes from mostly the zesty peel character and backed by some of the yeast character. The yeast also brings some spice while the moderate hops have an earthy and spicy character. There is a fair amount of coriander flavor in there but it's nicely balanced and comes through strong in the finish. The balance is slightly towards the bitter and the finish is off dry.
This is a light bodied beer with strong carbonation.
A Belgian White with the flavors turned up to eleven making for a refreshing and flavorful beer.

12 ounce can. There is "canned on" dating on the bottom of the can, but its undecipherable/smudged to sh%t, oh well, they tried...
Pours super typical, wit beer, clouded and dull light tangerine, off white head, that stays a bit, but leaves minimal lace.
Potent nose of coriander, orange and cloves, nice.
Tasty, zesty, assertive and quite enjoyable Florida, USA take on the classic Belgian style. Cigar city knows what they are doing and its been showing in every can that I've been enjoying of this "Cracker" beer. On the palate the themes established by the sniff carry forward. More orange, more coriander and more cloves. Aggressive and peppery hopped up finish seals the deal.
Gotta love quality beer in a can...Well done Cigar city...

Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Appearance: Straw yellow with a thin white head. No lacing on the glass and a lot of carbonation.
Smell: Cloves, hints of banana, hops, wheat and some citrus.
Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium to light bodied. Taste of grassy notes, cloves, and hops.
Overall: Great brew! Beginning to really like what Cigar City has to offer for beers!

Serving glass: Poured from can into white wine glass.
Appearance: Pale cloudy yellow with rapidly rising and even more rapidly falling head. Looks too still for a Wit.
Smell: Orange peel, coriander, spices, wheat, and a touch of banana.
Taste: Nice wheat backbone with just the right amount of orange peel and coriander. The yeast is well integrated as well, with clove, banana and spicy notes. Cracked black and white pepper. The orange peel really lingers.
Feel: Very light with moderate carbonation. Finish is relatively dry. Nice feel, but overall the beer could be slightly more effervescent and crisp.
Overall: This is a very safe Witbier, as it simply falls the rulebook, but the execution is fantastic. Improve the appearance and finish, and this would be world class.
